This is how to tune your guitar to what is known as DADGAD Tuning. This is alternatively named Dsus4 tuning or Celtic tuning. • We tune (from low to high) DADGAD (hence the name!). String 6 is the thickest, lowest-sounding string that is nearest to you as you look down upon the strings.
