UTS On Mobile • • As part of Operation five minutes, UTS on Mobile has been introduced. • • To book unreserved ticket on mobile. • • Free download of UTSON MOBILE App from Google play store/window • store/apple store register • • User Id is the Mobile No. • • Payment for the ticket can done through the “Railway Wallet” feature in the • “App” and others. • • R wallet with zero balance created without any additional cost upon successful • registration by the passenger. R wallet is a closed wallet of Indian Railways. • • Recharge of R wallet can be done through UTS ON MOBILE application or • website- www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in or at the UTS counters • • The minimum recharge value Rs 100 - maximum Rs 10,000. • • There is 3 % bonus on every R wallet recharge online for a limited period. • • Other payment modes:payment aggregators - Paytm, Mobikwik and freecharge • using different debit/credit card, internet banking,UPI and other Wallets . • • The passenger can either book paperless nor paper mode of ticket • Paperless ticket : • • While booking the ticket ,the passenger current geo location will be checked • using phone GPS and ticket will be booked if passenger is not inside the railway • fencing area like station premises and inside the train. The passenger can travel • without taking hard copy of the ticket. The smart phone should be GPS enabled • .however GPS is not required to book /renew season ticket. • Geographically fenced area • • The passenger should be minimum 25m away from either side of the track • • Max ticketing zone is 20 kms radius from the journey commencing station • • The image cannot be edited/forwarded/tampered with • • “Show Booked Ticket” option is used to show the ticket to the ticket checking • staff • • Colour,QR code, UTS no, Call checking can be done through TTE app • Paper ticket: • • The passenger can book ticket from anywhere. GPS is not mandatory. • • On successful booking of ticket, the passenger will get booking ID along with • the ticket details as SMS/Notification. • • The passenger should go to the source station and take print out from the • ATVM ,COTVM,OCR machine using the booking ID. • • The passenger can also approach UTS booking counter to take ticket printout. • • Without the printed ticket ,passenger treated as travelling without ticket. • Types of ticket that can be bought : • • Journey ticket • • Season ticket • • Platform Ticket • Validity: • Paperless ticket : • • Journey ticket -should commence within one hr from the time of booking of • ticket • • Season ticket- valid from the next day • Paper ticket: • • Journey should commence within one hr from the time of printing of ticket • Cancellation: • Paperless ticket : • • No cancellation allowed • Paper ticket: • • Cancellation of ticket through mobile application can be done only if ticket is not • printed. • • Once ticket is printed ,cancellation can be done at UTS counter within one hour • after printout. • • No cash refunds.The refund amount after deduction of clerkage charges ,will be • automatically topped up in the user’s R wallet or to customer account. • #telugurailways • #trainticketbooking • #uts
