DIY macramé dreamcatcher step-by-step tutorial - Beautiful eye-catcher - incl. knotting school • In this DIY tutorial, you will learn how to knot a dreamcatcher from macramé yarn. • The following macramé knots are used and shown in detail in the video: • 00:00 Material requirement • 01:03 Anchor knot • 03:36 Mast knot / weaving knot • 08:01 Anchor knot • 09:22 Square knot • 15:42 Spiral knot • 23:24 Anchor knot • 24:57 clove hitch knot • 49:02 Square knot for a leaf • This individual eye-catcher fits very well on any window, above your bed, in the children's room or as a wall hanging in the living room. • The handwork with macramé yarn relaxes you and you will soon be able to perform the knots meditatively. A great task that enriches your everyday life and lets you relax after work. • You will need the following materials: • o A total of 6.53 metres of 2 mm macramé yarn • In the video, I show you how to make two 2 mm cords from one 4 mm yarn. Then you only need half the length of yarn, i.e. approx. 3.30 metres • o 36 x wooden ball Ø 0.7 cm • o 12 x wooden ball Ø 1.0 cm • o 1x wooden ring Ø 4.5 cm • o 1x wooden ring Ø 20 cm • o Scissors • o Measuring tape • o Tape or sellotape • o Spray glue • o Hot glue • o a small piece of cardboard • Have fun knotting! • If you want to cut all the threads at the beginning, you can see the individual quantities and lengths of the threads in 2 mm thickness here: • 17 x 60 cm for the small ring in the centre • 2 x 450 cm for the long spiral • 8 x 60 cm for the triangle of cross knots • 6 x 160 cm for the pattern with diagonal mast pattern • 14 x 120 cm for further fringes • 96 x 20 cm for the leaves
