How do you start to build a modern mudhouse? Join us on our journey as we build a modern mud house! This mudhouse is a single room with a veranda, toilet and attic room that takes up a total size of 4mx8m (32sqm). Only 10% of the consturction uses concrete with another 10% used by metal for the roof structure. The remaining 80% is mud and rice husk. • The mud was dug right out of the earth nearby the house, which has now become a wild elephant watering hole. A total of 1350 mud bricks were used to construct the mud house.
