Sweetgum - Liquidambar orientalis • Sincere sweetgum, or Liquidambar orientalis in Latin, is a species of tree belonging to the Altingiaceae family, also known as the oriental sweet gum tree or Turkish sweet gum tree , that sheds its leaves in winter and whose wood has a pleasant smell. The name of the tree comes from the Latin word meaning fluent . It was born from the combination of liquidus and amber , which means pleasant smell in Persian. Sweetgum originates from the eastern Mediterranean, the island of Rhodes and some parts of southwestern Anatolia, and although it likes to grow in moist soils such as river banks or swampy areas, it is not clear about the soil type. It is an endemic tree species that is not very picky. • Okan Akkoyunlu • Images in the video: Yandex • Videos: dave from Pixabay • Music: 'Midvinter' - Scott Buckley • https://www.scottbuckley.com.au/
