#FAITH, HOPE, LOVE... • ...And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13, NKJV) • ================ • MORE @ / @dailywordins • • John Chapter 1 _ Daily Word Fo... • John 1:19 Ang mga pinuno ng mga Judio sa Jerusalem ay nagsugo ng mga pari at Levita upang itanong kay Juan kung sino nga ba siya. • Who Are You Following? • In John 1:19-23, a delegation of priests and Levites are sent to ask John the Baptist who he is. When they inquire whether he is the Messiah, John quickly clarifies: “I am not the Messiah. I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord’” (John 1:23). John’s identity is not based on his own fame or reputation, but on his mission to point others to Jesus. • John the Baptist's response challenges us to reflect on who we are living for and what defines our purpose. In a world that often pushes for self-promotion, we can lose sight of the bigger picture: our true identity and mission are found in Christ. John the Baptist didn’t seek recognition for himself; he pointed others to Jesus. Are we living to make our name known, or are we faithfully making His name known? We are called to be voices in the wilderness, preparing hearts for the coming of the Lord. • Lord, thank You for the example of John the Baptist, who lived with humility and purpose. Help me to follow his example by pointing others to You. May my life be a reflection of Your glory and not my own. Teach me to focus on my calling to serve and make Your name known. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🥰
