Make a one-inch mark along the edge of your trim. • 2. From that one-inch line, make a 45-degree line at the drip edge. • 3. On the top side of the trim, mark the width of the gable trim, and draw a line from this mark to the edge of your trim. • 4. At the center of trim, cut a notch out to the one-inch mark. • 5. Cut along the marked areas leaving only the tab remaining. • 6. Fold the tab down 90 degrees—this tab should fit inside the gable trim. • 7.
