This video will provide you with detailed instructions on how to integrate your SunSDR2 DX with Ham Radio Deluxe logging software. • 1. Download and install Virtual Serial Port Software • https://www.eltima.com/products/vspdx... • 1a. Eltima virtual serial port software is not free, you could try using com0com if you are after free software. in saying that i could not get the connection established with com0com as it has failed to scan my physical ports. • 2. Once you have installed our virtual serial software create com port pair. You would need to use one physical and one virtual port as a pair. In my case i have used com3 (physical) and com13 (virtual) ports. Make sure that boud rate emulation is selected for your newly created com port pair. • 3. Start up your sunsdr software and go to options. Under cat tab, enable cat control select one end of your created pair (com port pair). Select your baud rate. PTT control can be set up later once you have HRD connected. • 4. Start your HRD software and choose Kenwood TS-480 as radio model and the oposite end of the com port pair (oposite to the end you have selected in sunsdr software) - Click on connect. • That should be it. • If you have any questions r suggestion i can be reached via email on [email protected]
