It’s the day before summit night, and I’m here at Karanga Camp (3,995 meters), reflecting on the journey so far. Earlier today, I tackled the infamous Barranco Wall and kissed the stone at the top, feeling grateful for making it this far. • Huge thanks to Mr. Mountain Butterfly and Mr. Paul for their support. I may be slow, and I was the last to arrive, but I got here. That’s what matters. 🏔️ • After this morning’s hike, I rested in the afternoon to prepare for the summit attempt tonight. It’s hard to believe that soon, under the full moon, we’ll be setting off toward the summit. • I almost considered heading back down, but it was suggested that it’s easier to go up – so here I am, ready to take on the final challenge. • This moment at Karanga Camp is surreal. The full moon lights the way, and the anticipation is building.
