Thank you very much! • PLOT: • When Shuriki took over the kingdom 33 years ago, Rafa was still a child. Zhe new queen outlawed magic, singing and dancing, so Rafa taught her son Mateo the old songs and dances in secret and told stories of her childhood when Avalor was still free. Thi included the story of how Crown Princess Elena, the rightful heir, stood against Shuriki after her parents were murdered. Just as Shurikis spell was about to hit her the Amulet of Avalor trapped her inside for protection. • Mateos grandfather, the Royal Wizard Alakazar left the kingdom to find a way to free Elena. • The story impressed Mateo so much, that he dreamt of Elena in a white dress as a peace symbol, bringing back music and magic. Mateo started to teach himself magic in secret for 8 years. • After Elena was freed after 41 years of magical imprisonment Mateos dreams changed. Elena had become his best friend and soulmate, encouriging him and him fighting by her side as an equal. • He didnt't know that Elena felt the same connection as soon as she saw him from inside the Amulet. The image was not clear, but the feeling was. • --- • The shot of the bare feet was originally from Tangled. I recolored the dress, the hair and the skin. Especially the ruffles of the dress were a pain to mask. • Rendering the hug was difficult, too. My editing program crashed many times before I could finally render it and continue. • At 1:30 I added Mateo's smile • Zorro: The Chronicles is great for background scenes because the architecture is similar. I used it for the flashback scene.
