While Abaranger was nearing completion, the next Sentai series was meant to be a tribute to both Shozo Uehara and the Metal Heroes franchise. This in turn meant that Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, as it was to be called, would be about a team of space police stationed on Earth, protecting it from evil invaders known as Alienizers. Dekaranger would become a HUGE success to the point that nearly 15 years later we are still gett new adventures. Is Deakranger truly worthy of its success?
