This elk hunt was different than any I have been on. With the new Mathew's LIFT X in my hand, I decided to break it in and put it through the paces chasing one of my favorite species... elk. This elk hunt was different because I held a tag for a Tule Elk. A species of elk native to the state of California that I have never hunted. • The gravity of the moment was not wasted on me.
