Drone Propelled Bike

My quadcopter can lift a couple of kilos, but how fast could it push along a bike? • I decided to find out... • Quad is a modified foldable carbon fibre H-500 available from Peter King ( / westmidscom ) • Using 2 x 4S 5000mAh lipos, HP 2812 motors, 14 carbon fibre props, combo ESCs and a confused Pixhawk. • Disclaimer - I should have used a cage for the propellers, but tried this only once carefully - propellers are dangerous and these carbon fibre ones can remove fingers without even noticing. • ( Maybe I'll demonstrate in another video...! ) • This might look funny, but a proper ebike is far more efficient and can use regenerative braking.
