In the first day it received over 100,000 views and has since been viewed over 2.2 million times on my music video and over 10 million times on various other uploads by fans. Along the way, it made a connection with the people in the Philippines, and started being played on radio stations, and shared by hundreds of thousands of fans. In September 2011, it was translated in to the native language of the Philippines, Tagalog, and then was shared over and over and has been heard over 6 million times. • Here is the original upload, I believe by CH Family (Jecika Mana, and Jeff Ortiz)- • Salamat sa pananakit mo - CH FAMILY • That translation is Salamat Sa Pananakit Mo . I was so honored that they would translate my lyrics to their language, that I decided I would record my own version in Tagalog. Having never spoken a single word in Tagalog, or having the help from an in-person translator, it was very difficult to record the song, and know if I was pronouncing the words correctly or if I was saying something completely different. Fortunately I did receive help via facebook messages from Katch Castigador and Mrs. Garcia, on if my pronunciations were accurate or not.
