1997 marked Kyung-Wha Chung's 30th anniversary of her international debut. She celebrated the occasion with a series of concerts in her homeland, the UK and Japan. A part of the program was playing with and conducting the chamber orchestra she organized herself for the occasion, a format she had already tried in the early 80's. • Later in the same year, she brought back the program in Seoul, Korea, specially for the younger audience with much lower ticket price than usual.
