Porth Beach is a magnificent beach located in the perfect spot between Newquay and Watergate Bay. It is a very popular beach due to its extensive golden sand and can stretch up to a mile long when the tide is at its lowest point. The beach is protected by a headland on the left and Porth Island on the right which has a narrow foot bridge over to the Island. The view from Porth Island is most spectacular as you can see the many beaches and dramatic coastline which the North of Cornwall offers. • • More about this beach: • • •Dog friendly from October 1st - Easter Day • •Limited car parking on the beach offering the easiest access • •RNLI Lifeguard cover (May 19th - 30th September each year) • •Cafe and toilets available on the road opposite the beach. • • Porth Beach has extremely easy access as you park on the beach, however you do have to cross a stream to get onto the beach.
