I had been kitesurfing at Currumbin on a surfboard in a south easterly for about 3 hours and the surf started to turn bad.Looked out, saw birds diving in the distance and had my fishing gear so I went in and got it. • Got this one after about 45 minutes trawling. Not much good for eating, I got this one in because I had cameras. • Fulll video in link • My best landed was a 155cm Spanish Mackerel on a surfboard. • Best caught but had to leave was a Wahoo.
