It might sound like a squealing belt that is constant and won't go away. You may also see multiple misfire codes even though your coil packs and spark plugs were just replaced! The bad PCV can cause multiple engine codes, multiple misfires and the squealing noise. In this video I go over the quick and easy way to diagnose a failed PCV valve by removing the oil cap with the car running to see how much suction is present in the crank case. If the cap is difficult to move with a strong suction noise, it is time to replace the PCV. The factory VW/Audi part number is 06F129101P. • Upon replacing the PCV for this #2.0T FSI TFSI engine, 5 of the engine codes cleared on their own without the need to erase them via the OBDII port with a diagnostic scan tool. The engine sounds much healthier and the car is running much better with more power than before.
