Lake District Walks Howtown to Glenridding a walk along the Ullswater Way

Todays adventure is a walk from Howtown to Glenridding along the Ullswater Way a lovely walk in the Lake District • The day started with a ferry trip from Glenridding across to Howtown before commencing the walk, along the shore line of Ullswater. The weather wasn't looking great but we'd packed our umbrellas just in case of any torrential down pours, luckily we didn't need them. • The walk took around 4hrs and is around 6.5 miles in length, with a couple of small ups and downs on the way it turned out to be a great walk in a lovely area. Theres no need to go bagging wainwrights to have great walk within the lakes, there's some lovely low level walks to be found which can be completed by all abilities. • #adventure #hiking #lakedistrict • Hope you enjoy our adventure as much as we did. • Lets Do It • Phil and Hazel
