In it involves a group of survivors surviving in a world known as the constant where bizarre creatures such as pigmen, giant spiders, and treeguards. Play as one of the 21 characters, Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, Woodie, Wickerbottom, Webber, Wigfrid, Maxwell, WX-78, Wheeler, Wagstaff, Winona, Wormwood, Wes, Walani, Warly, Wilbur, Wilba, Woodlegs, Wortox, or Wanda in an attempt to not only survive but uncover the secrets of this strange world around you. Whether that be defeating the ancient fuelweaver and earning the leader of the shadows Charlies favor, making it to the moon and defeating the lunar champion, uncovering the ruins of the ancients long before you, or killing toadstool if you want a pointless challenge. Dont starve has several worlds for players to explore as well such as The Gorge, The Forge, Hamlet, and Shipwrecked. • • Now im totally not just asking this because of the daywalker theory (yes he is mattpatt music) But does it feel like to anyone else that pigmen are long overdue for an update? In the past 5 years, we have seen an update to merms, spiders, and even a small update to bunnymen. We have also had a new main faction present itself, the moon quay monkeys. And although they likely need an update themselves, it seems as though pigmen and bunnymen were largely left behind, even excepting their YEAR OF events. • it seems more and more like klei is moving towards a more pigman focused storyline, or at least a subplot of the overall game. Things like the introduction of daywalker and lore shorts dedicated entirely to pigmen and their relationships in the constant. Lastly, we have the second most anticipated character from standard dont starve Wilba(first being Wilbur) who is the objectively correct answer and since hamlet is an integral piece of pigman lore, we dont currently know where she is yet either, however if she is to be added, she will likely carry the pigman update with her. But what do you all think? are pigmen getting an update? and do they even need an update or am I just slowly transforming into a yapper with each of these shorts i make?
