/ electronzap   • Demonstration circuit using a 2N3904 NPN bipolar junction transistor and a 2N3906 PNP BJT wired in push pull configuration. Using a pushbutton switch that is held high while off, the bases of both transistors either get a 5V (whatever the power supply voltage is) or 0V. The difference between the emitter voltages, which are tied together, and the other side of the load (set to 2.5V) will determin which way the current flows, and which LED conducts and lights up. Unfortunately for this circuit, either there is a 4.4V - 2.5V = 1.9V difference, or a 0.6V - 2.5V = -1.9V difference, both of which barely light the LED t •   / electronzap   •   / electronzap   •   / electronzap   •   / electronzap   •   / electronzapdotcom   •   / electronicsstudy   •   / electronzap
