I was a sheetmetal apprentice when I got to work on the 100 year old Preston Castle known as Preston School Of Industry for boys, a state historical landmark in Ione California...Before any interior work could be started the exterior roof and metal flashings had to be repaired to keep it from anymore deterioration..This preview clip give you an insight as to what it looked like before some the interior restoration work started in the mid 1990's.You can see phase one of the 1984 start of the restoration at this link • Preston Castle 1984 Restoration-Phase 1
