Einmal sagte ich zum Gesandten Gottes (S): „O Gesandter Gottes, wenn wir uns doch die Stätte Abrahams (Ibrahim) zum Ort des Gebets nehmen könnten! Wenig später wurde offenbart: „Macht euch aus der Stätte Abrahams einen Platz für das Gebet! Sure 2,125 • Ein anderes Mal sagte ich: „O Gesandter Gottes, weise doch deine Frauen an, daß sie sich hinter einen Vorhang zurückziehen! Meist sind es fromme, manchmal aber auch schamlose Männer, die mit ihnen reden! Und es erfolgte die Offenbarung jenes Verses. • Narrated Anas: • Umar said, I agreed with Allah in three things, or said, My Lord agreed with me in three things. I said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Would that you took the station of Abraham as a place of prayer.' I also said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Good and bad persons visit you! Would that you ordered the Mothers of the believers to cover themselves with veils.' So the Divine Verses of Al-Hijab (i.e. veiling of the women) were revealed. I came to know that the Prophet had blamed some of his wives so I entered upon them and said, 'You should either stop (troubling the Prophet ) or else Allah will give His Apostle better wives than you.' When I came to one of his wives, she said to me, 'O 'Umar! Does Allah's Apostle haven't what he could advise his wives with, that you try to advise them?' Thereupon Allah revealed:-- ... • • Eng: • Narrated by Abu Said bin Al-Mu'alla • While I was praying in the Mosque, Allah's Apostle called me but I did not respond to him. Later I said, O Allah's Apostle! I was praying. He said, Didn't Allah say' Give your response to Allah (by obeying Him) and to His Apostle when he calls you. (8.24) He then said to me, I will teach you a Sura which is the greatest Sura in the Qur'an, before you leave the Mosque. Then he got hold of my hand, and when he intended to leave (the Mosque), I said to him, Didn't you say to me, 'I will teach you a Sura which is the greatest Sura in the Quran?' He said, Al-Hamdu-Lillah Rabbi-l-Alamin (i.e. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds) which is Al-Sab'a Al-Mathani (i.e. seven repeatedly recited Verses) and the Grand Qur'an which has been given to me. • • Al-Baqara 2,125 • Deu: • Und (gedenket der Zeit) da Wir das Haus zu einem Versammlungsort für die Menschheit machten und zu einer Sicherheit: «Nehmet die Stätte Abrahams als Bethaus an.» Und Wir geboten Abraham und Ismael: «Reinigt Mein Haus für die, die (es) umwandeln, und die in Andacht verweilen und die sich beugen und niederfallen (im Gebet).» • Eng: • Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). • Al-Ahzab 33,53 • Deu: • O die ihr glaubt! betretet nicht die Häuser des Propheten, es sei denn, daß euch Erlaubnis gegeben ward zu einer Mahlzeit, ohne auf deren Zubereitung zu warten. Sondern wann immer ihr eingeladen seid, tretet ein (zur rechten Zeit); und wenn ihr gespeist habt, so gehet auseinander und säumt nicht zu (weiterer) Unterhaltung. Das verursacht dem Propheten Ungelegenheit und er ist scheu vor euch, jedoch Allah ist nicht scheu vor der Wahrheit. Und wenn ihr sie um irgend etwas zu bitten habt, so bittet sie hinter einem Vorhang. Das ist reiner für eure Herzen und ihre Herzen. Und es geziemt euch nicht, den Gesandten Allahs zu belästigen, noch daß ihr je seine Frauen nach ihm heiraten solltet. Fürwahr, das würde vor Allah eine Ungeheuerlichkeit sein. • Eng: • O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.
