Over the years, there's been more LGBT+ Content in Cartoons. Unfortunately, this doesn't come without its struggles. While it may seem like including LGBT+ themes are more common in today's media, there's still a lot of fights that take place behind the scenes. • Rebecca Sugar needed to fight and sacrifice the longevity of Steven Universe to further the progressive movement in children's TV animation.
