James Marape bid a heartfelt farewell to 76 of Papua New Guinea’s brightest young minds, as they prepare to embark on a life-changing journey to the United States. These exceptional students, who excelled in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) during their Grade 12 year at the nation's six schools of excellence—Sogeri, Aiyura, Kerevat, Passam, Wawin, and Port Moresby—are set to pursue advanced studies in groundbreaking fields like aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, and petroleum engineering. • This momentous occasion is part of a broader vision championed by Prime Minister Marape, which has already seen remarkable success.
