We show the bungalows at the Satara Rest Camp and stop for a coffee at the Tsokwane Picnic site in the Kruger National Park. Go for a walk at Plattekloof in Cape Town. Misty and cloudy day along the N4 past Waterval Boven. Rain over Kimberley is seen from the roof of the Kimberley Mall. Drive through Jeffreys Bay, and we will show you several more places across South Africa today. • Here's a short weather forecast for South Africa today: • Today, we can expect fog patches in various areas across the Western Cape Province and over the Highveld and the interior regions of KwaZulu-Natal Province and the Eastern Cape Province. Overall, it will be a hot day for much of South Africa. Isolated thunderstorms are anticipated in the northeastern parts of South Africa. Still, these are expected to become scattered along the eastern escarpment of KwaZulu-Natal Province and some regions of the Mpumalanga Province Highveld. The South African Weather Service has not issued any impact-based warnings. However, fire danger alerts are in effect. Extremely high fire risk conditions are expected in central areas of the Northern Cape and the Free State. A heatwave is also predicted, bringing persistently high temperatures to northern and eastern Eastern Cape parts until the following Monday.
