The terrain of the route was a mostly grassy coast paths and cliff edge paths; plus a track, a short sandy beach section and a short road section. The walking was mostly easy on level or gently undulating ground with a few gentle slopes and a few short steep gully ascents and descents. Route finding was very easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and obvious landmarks.
