Update Edit: An Email made in 2013 March 14th • Hello. I am the guy who made the Zybourne Clock Timeline Image. • One day in the something awful sub-forum called Byob, Rex started a thread about making a steam punk game. The thread grew to such a huge state that Rex made an off site internet forum. I got there early and was made a mod because I sort of tried to organize the stories that were coming in. I wanted to be a writer, but I was not a good writer. so I tried to just organize all the stuff that was coming in. • Strangely, the basic outline of the plot was sort being created from everybody posting a lot. It was anarchy, but agreements were happening and the basic plot was being outlined. It started with the first timeline, a genius scientist who had a daughter and lived on an island made a time traveling clock (which was supposed to look like London's Big Ben.) Then the scientist sent it into the past for some unknown reason. Then he died for some unknown reason • In the second timeline with the clock in the past, the player controlled the main character Sylus. Sylus was depicted as the large bald man with a robot arm. Sylus went to the island to destroy the clock, for some unknown reason, and himself killed himself in the process. • The plot twist was supposed to be that Sylus was not supposed to destroy the clock, but Sylus realized this too late, so before he died sent a message to the scientist’s daughter in the past to stop himself from destroying the clock. Then I think the player controlled her in the third timeline. • Before I made my Timeline Image, there was an earlier one. I think it was lost when the forums closed. I remember roughly how it looked, and I attached a file that is my rough memory approximation. • It was a really rough and simple image that was supposed to convey the point when either the clock or the message was sent back in time. I don't know. I don't remember. I wanted to make better timeline image. Although just before I made my Timeline Image, I got into an argument with somebody on the forums over the definition of terraforming because they were using it wrong, and I didn't want other people to mock the project for using that word incorrectly. Then I quit being a mod. Yeah, I know. It's dumb. • I was pissed, and I made my Timeline Image out of spite to show that I could one up somebody, and I was able to make a better (but not good) Timeline Image because I copied the timeline that somebody else made for the movie Primer. I had seen the movie Primer and looked at the movie's wikipedia page. The wiki page had a timeline for that movie, so I copied that format. Here is that picture of primer's timeline. ( http://unrealitymag.com/wp-content/up... ) • • I made my Timeline Image in a Linux Mint paint program which is why the circles and bent lines look a lot smother than they would in MS paint. I was also a bad writer, and wrote bad incomplete sentences that barely described the plot. When the picture was finished, I then tried to message other people who were working on the project to post the Timeline Image for me because I was pissed at the forums, and I didn't want go there. Then when I finally went to the forums to post the image, the forums were locked, and I think only mods were able to get in, so I regretted getting mad and losing my mod-hood. • Well time has passed. I attached my Timeline Image itself. I don't even know how or why I saved it as a . jpg.bmp. Also because I'm not sure if giving you a copy of the file would keep the same modified date, I attached a screenshot of the the Timeline Image with the properties showing a modified date of December 2006. I back up a lot of my stuff, and I think I accidentally opened the file in December for one reason or another. • Thank you for reading. • Old joke comment • Beta Testing of Zyboune Clock / keeperoftime97 http://zybourneclock.blogspot.com/ • ...
