This is an overall of the climb to the summit of Mount Kinabalu via the new Kota Belud Trail (will be open to public on 9 Dec 2016). You can jump to 3:27 to see Kota Belud Trail if you don't want to watch the climb from the beginning (at Timpohon Gate starting point). • You will see that Kota Belud trail is more challenging than the standard Ranau Trail. Hope this will help you to decide whether to use this new trail. If in doubt, just go for Ranau trail, which is more tourist friendly. • The key actress in this video is Cassie, who had climbed Mt. Kinabalu many years ago. She attempted her second climb with us. However, she got bogged down by the bad weather and exhaustion. Did she make it to the summit?
