Took me long enough - but this is the build overview and history on the craziest Honda Civic of my dreams! 3 years of development, trial and error some late nights with the homies made this dream a reality - and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. • HUGE shoutout to one of my best friends, Jake, for building roughly 90% of what you see in the end. Would not be possible without him. His socials are as follows: • Honda Content: https://www.instagram.com/slightlyman... • Cool Honda Merch: https://www.instagram.com/trbo_nktr?i... • Cool Custom Graphics: https://www.instagram.com/vsw_printin... • And a special thank you to Shawn at Schweaty’s Speed Shop for some VERY last minute fabrication for the cars unveil earlier this year continual support of this build. Shawn builds some of the coolest cars known to man, check him out here: https://www.instagram.com/schweatyssp... • And one last shoutout to Dallas at Tint Xpress Plus for coming over to help Jake and I wrap the car with literal DAYS before the car was unveiled. Really made that Inozetek wrap look SO GOOD on this little woods toy! • Here’s how this build breaks down: • It’s a 1999 Honda Civic with a custom 6” lift kit from HRG Off-Road, mated to an AWD swap from S1Built, utilizing CR-V driveline suspension components. TruHart sent us some pieces to keep everything aligned underneath. It also has a B20 swap out of a CR-V, held in with mounts from Hasport, the best mounts in the game for Hondas. That is then paired up to an AWD manual transmission with a beautiful Hybrid Racing shifter setup ACT clutch for smooth engagement. And it’s all connected front to rear with a custom cut CR-V driveshaft from Hudlow Axle. • The car runs ridiculously well thanks to a Jason Waters Tuning P28 ECU, there isn’t an actual exhaust past the headers so it is ROWDY. It all gets put down to the ground with a wheel and tire combo from Two Brothers Tire Automotive. 29” tall Nexens and a set of 2” backspace steelies set this build off with some aggression. Aesthetically, it’s had a 96-98 de-facelift front and rear. The whole car is wrapped in Inozetek’s Slate Grey, the same color as the original rendering from 3 years ago. Shawn welded up the bash bar up front made by Rugged Ridge for a JEEP WRANGLER!!! Interior wise, we replaced the front seats with ones from a newer Civic Si and the steering wheel is from BridgeMoto. • Lastly, while we had a TON of AMAZING sponsors for this build, there were a few things that we had to buy outside of sponsored parts. Luckily, our friends at Prentice Performance Imports Soddy Daisy Speed Shop chipped in on the build to help make this thing what it is today. Also, this would not be happening in the first place if it wasn’t for S3Magazine. Wooley, thanks for having me along for the ride so far. • Thank you again to all of our amazing sponsors: • Trbo Nktr • VSW Printing • Schweaty’s Speed Shop • HRG Off-Road • S1Built • Two Brothers Tire Automotive • Inozetek • TruHart • Hasport • Hybrid Racing • ACT • Jason Waters Tuning • Hudlow Axle • Prentice Performance Imports • Soddy Daisy Speed Shop • S3Magazine • And thank you to my wife Kelsey for always supporting me and my crazy, dumb ideas. I promise that 2025 will not have a car project like this one… 2026 though… no promises!!! • If you’ve taken the time to read this all the way through, you’re the best. Thank you so much for watching this video and following along.
