Maysville reached 6-0 for the first time in school history with a 27-24 triple overtime victory over Sheridan. Sheridan kept Maysville scoreless and took a 14-0 lead into halftime. The Panthers got on the board with a touchdown by Chase Himmelspach on a long reverse to get within seven with 5:24 left in the third. Himmelspach would then tie the game with 3:36 left in regulation on a long run down the sideline. Maysville blocked a last second field goal opportunity by Sheridan to force overtime. The Panthers and Generals would be tied at 24 entering the third overtime. Maysville kept Sheridan off scoreboard and Nate Vallee would kick the game winning field goal in the third overtime to give Maysville the 27-24 victory.
