Update 3/25/2022 - - I have a new and possibly better quality version of this movie posted on YouTube at • The Longest Hundred Miles (1967) . Using Avidemux I ran this version through color, contrast and sharpness filters and also increased the size to approximately 480p. Although it is still not great I think it is an improvement to this originally posted version which is still available on this site. • This is a rare copy of the 1967 made for TV movie The Longest Hundred Miles . Set during World War II at the time of the Japanese invasion of the Philippines, an assorted group of refugees, including an American soldier (Doug McClure), an Army nurse (Katharine Ross), a priest (Ricardo Montalban) and a group of local children, try to make their getaway aboard an old barely running bus. The film was shot on location in the Philippines over three months in 1966 and was originally shown on NBC January 21, 1967. • This video was spliced together from the 2-parts of the movie posted in November 2012 at OLI ROBLE SAMANIEGO's YouTube Channel at • Video with the original aspect ratio restored to 1.33 (4x3) and some VHS distortion cropped off from the edges of the frame. I'm uploading it and am hopeful someone will be able to further improve the quality down the road. I do not have any ownership of the content and am just posting this as a fan of the movie.
