This video will walk you through the steps of making your very own fox mask. You can use the basic steps of this tutorial to make a variety of masks, all you need to change are the ears and shape of the mouth. Supplies you need are: a balloon, flour water paper mache paste (link following), newspaper or other paper strips, masking tape, cardboard for the ears, xacto knife, and acrylic paint and brushes to paint. Tip Cover your balloon in 2 layers of paper mache then attach the ears, if you attach them to the balloon, when the balloon pops it can be difficult for the ears to not collapse. Mine are still fine, but I wish I would have not taped them to the balloon. Also don't paint your paper mache with watery paint, it will make your paper mache weak and it could lose its shape. This is a fun project suitable for all ages, younger people may need help cutting out the holes for the eyes, but other than that, most of it is safe and easy. Have fun and enjoy!
