Let me show you how to find the last time you backed up your iPhone and how to do a backup right now. • First, ensure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network if possible, as this will speed up the process. Also, make sure you have at least 50 percent battery or are plugged in. If you've never backed up before, it might take a bit longer. • Start by opening the Settings app. Inside Settings, tap your name at the top to access your device and Apple ID settings. Next, choose iCloud. At the top, you'll see how much storage space you have on your iCloud account, which is where we'll back up to. • If you're running out of space, you might need to upgrade your plan. You can find storage plans by choosing Manage Account Storage and then selecting Change Storage Plan. You'll see a pop-up menu with various options. If you're not using iCloud storage for much else besides your iPhone, the 50 or 200-gigabyte plans should be sufficient. Make your choice and follow through the App Store purchase. • Once you're done, or if you didn't need to upgrade, head back to the iCloud menu page. Find and select iCloud Backup under device backups. Ensure Back Up This iPhone is enabled. You can also toggle the Back Up Over Cellular option, but we'll leave it on to ensure backups can proceed even if Wi-Fi is unavailable. • Finally, when you're ready, tap Back Up Now. The backup process will begin and shouldn't take long. When it's finished, you'll see a notification underneath the backup button indicating the last successful backup time. • And that's how you check your last backup and perform a new one on your iPhone. • If you found this video helpful, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel for more tech tips and tutorials.
