Project begins here: • • Crochet Bible Cover Tutorial Patter... • You will need: • about 60g light size 3 yarn • (I used Lion Brand Mandala Baby, Echo Caves) • 3.5mm crochet hook • yarn needle • 2 buttons • scissors • Finished Project Measures Approximately: • 20 long by 9 1/4 tall • Half Double Crochet Short Tutorial (hdc): • • HDC Half Double Crochet #shorts • Crochet Chain Short Tutorial (ch): • • Crochet Chain #shorts • Wave edging: • continue wave edging on 4th side if desired • *skip your 1st st, hdc in the next st, ch2, • place 3hdc in the space you just formed by skipping a stitch, • sc in the same st as the 1st hdc*, repeat ** around the first 3 sides, • at each corner do not skip a stitch in between, place a wave in the stitch • before the corner, at the corner and after the corner, this will keep your • waves from being pulled too tightly. • At the last wave (corner), join with a slip stitch in the • beginning stitch of the first wave. • Position buttons in desired area, join yarn to last worked side and • ch8 or desired length to fit around the button. • Join with a slip stitch to the same space you added your yarn on. • Repeat this process for as many buttons as you are working • onto your project. • Once the loops are made sew your buttons onto the main lattice • portion of your work, lining them up with the button loops you just made. • Enjoy!
