This is how to open a padlock using a wrench. In case of an emergency its always good to know a few different ways to open a lock. In this i needed to conduct some work at a property which has been vacated and no keys returned which means i have to break the locks in order to start work. My angle grinder and bolt cutters could not be used, so i put the double nut wrench method to the test to see if it will allow me to open the pad lock. With a bit of effort trying to position the wrenches for maximum tension i finally opened the pad lock .
