On Friday the 25th, I headed to Fostoria Ohio for some train watching. However, Due to Hurricane Irene traffic was slow. I was glad to see that CSX finally got one of their HLCX SD40-2's out of storage when one of them rolled past to.... CSX westbound intermodal with a CSX CW40-8 and a CSX SD50-2, NS westbound mixed frieght with an NS DASH9-40CW and a UP SD70M, CSX westbound mixed freight with 2 CSX CW40-8's and a HLCX Snoot Nose SD40-2, CSX westbound coal train with 2 CSX AC4400CW's, CSX local with 2 CSX GP38-2's, NS westbound roadrailer with 2 NS DASH9-40CW's, BNSF eastbound intermodal with a BNSF DASH9-44CW and an NS DASH9-40CW... Since traffic was slow, I left about 5 hours later and headed home... About an Hour later however, I was on the GreatLakes Fostoria Web Cam and a CSX coal train cleared and right there as the 2nd unit, CSX exCR #8888 passed the cam! And I missed it by an hour!
