It has a really well done cyberpunk aesthetic and amazing pixel art, but it's also a really good game. It plays differently from something like Contra or Metal Slug - you have to make use of cover by ducking behind boxes and pressing up against walls to slip behind bullets. Honestly, I don't like this style as much as Metal Slug's, but I can appreciate them trying something different, and they made it work. I'd still say that any fan of the genre should have this game on their radar, because it's well worth the $20 launch price. In fact, you can get it for only $10 right now on the Epic Games Store if you use the $10 coupon that they're giving away, which makes an already great deal way better. • (Played on Badass difficulty, though it doesn't make a difference.
