Edifier S880DB vs Presonus Eris E45 Sound Demo w Bass Test

Does it succeed? Starting with physical part, S880DB has slightly more compact size and much better build quality than its more professional counterpart. On the plus side for S880DB it also has a remote control, digital inputs, Bluetooth connectivity and USB DAC build in which is great when we consider it is only slightly more expensive than E4.5. So far so good, but what about the sound quality? Well, the good news continues here, S880DB holds up very well in most of areas, especially the clarity and focus. Edifier has a bit less bass but at the same time it feels tighter and less boomy in upper bass range. Overall I have to say that, sound wise, they are even in my mind. What is also great is the fact that S800DB has significantly less hiss, which is great news! S880DB is a very good value proposition for those looking for clarity and natural tone in a small package. • What do You think? Which one of these sounds better to You?
