Atom is the smallest unit of matter. Atoms are so small that their size is roughly 100 picometers which is 10 millionth of a millimeter. Last year in 2018 David Nadlinger decided to picture atom. He took the Strontium Atom which is an Alkaline Earth metal and placed it between 2 rods. • These rods has an electric field so that the atom floats between them. Then he blasted high-powered laser on it which energizes the Strontium electrons and makes them glow brighter.
