Sitting in Blue Rock State Park in Ohio is one of the state's abandoned fire towers. Built in 1937, the Abandoned Blue Rock Fire Tower is Ohio's last remaining 100-foot fire tower. The tower was abandoned after the task of looking for fires was transferred to aerial surveillance.
