Teaching dog remote sit is the topic of this clip from one of our DogBone handlers workshops! Teaching your dog to remote sit is crucial for all aspects of our training, and we do this by heeling the dog and getting them to understand what we want them to do when we give them the command sit , then turning and giving them the traffic cop stop hand signal. Slowly and incrementally, we move away from them and leave them on an island.
