In this video, I take a look at discoDSP's OB-Xd, a VST synth which emulates and improves upon a classic analogue subtractive synth. It has a number of nice features to help it sound more organic, and comes with a huge range of presets. • It was free for non-commercial use at the time of recording, but now sells for $49, which gives you a licence for commercial use and also extra plugin formats (AAX, VST3 and LV2).
