The old WestLB building Friedrichstraße corner Fürstenwall, designed by the architect Heinz Thoma in 1949 and completed in 1952 by the company Laarakkers demolished. A 6 to 7 storey new building is planned. In the future, gastronomy and retail will stimulate the neighborhood. An underground car park with 138 seats is also being constructed.
