Nutella Chocolate Crepes

In this video, I demonstrate how to make Crepes. You can make crepes in advance, and put the dish together when you are ready to serve. • Ingredients • 120 g (1 cup) plain / all purpose flour • 3 tablespoons sugar • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 2 eggs, lightly beaten • 250 ml (1 cup) milk • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted plus more for frying • Instructions • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar and salt. • Make a well in the centre and pour in the beaten eggs. • Using a whisk, beat the eggs, drawing in a little until it is all incorporated. • Slowly whisk in the milk 50 ml (1/4 cup) at a time and beat until you have a smooth batter. Whisk in melted butter. • Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Brush the frying pan with a little melted butter. • Pour in about 2/3 cup of batter and quickly tilt and rotate the frying pan to cover the bottom with a thin layer of batter. • Cook for about 1 minute, until the top is set and the bottom is golden. Using a spatula, flip the crepe over and cook for about 30 seconds. Turn out onto a plate. • Continue cooking the crepes. Place a sheet of plastic wrap between each crepe as they are stacked to prevent stacking. • Place crepe on a plate, spread with hazelnut or nutella spread and place slice strawberries over spread.
