This is a tutorial video about planning, shooting and editing a time-lapse sequence using the MIOPS Trigger as the main camera intervalometer option and then piecing the final project together using LRTImelapse Pro 4.3 and Adobe Lightroom. The shoot took place in Yokohama, Japan at a busy intersection that I have filmed in the past. I understand there are a few spoken errors along the way, as per reference number of frames shot etc during the overall project but these slight errors are simply spoken typos and don’t detract from the main educational aspect of the film. • With regards to the hardware I was using a Canon EOS5D3 fitted with a Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 D EG Lens by way of a Novoflex EOS/NIK Adapter for aperture control. Also with regards to editing this is the workflow I prefer. It may differ from the way others edit but at the end of the day we all arrive at our respective project aesthetics, which can again, from shooter to shooter, differ. That’s the whole beauty of photography, the eye of the beholder. • Beyond using the MIOPS Trigger for Time-lapse the shooter can also employ it as a sound, light and laser initiated camera trigger. I will also be making short(er) videos for all of the other options this small trigger provides for. Time-lapse, given it’s very nature, requires an extensive and multifaceted approach to editing of it is to be done correctly which also explains the reason for such a long video. I trust you see fit to watch the length of the film which will impart my thus far understanding of the photographic genre and editing requirements for time-lapse shooting. We are always constantly learning, I don’t profess to be any leading knowledge for this genre of photography, I enjoy it and am happy to pass my understanding of it along. • Make sure to get the right compatible package for your MIOPS Trigger • Canon w/ C1 Cable - https://goo.gl/N4FV4t • Nikon w/ N3 Cable - https://goo.gl/BPWYCR • Hasselblad, Canon, Fujifilm, Samsung and Pentax (E3) w/ C2 Cable - https://goo.gl/kybtc2 • Sony, Minolta and Konica Minolta w/ S1 Cable - https://goo.gl/N6juwr • For further information on the LRTimelapse Pro4.3 plug in for Adobe Lightroom please visit: http://lrtimelapse.com/?ap_id=saewild... • For information on Novoflex Adapters please visit: http://www.novoflex.com • Music for the beginning of the film, during the MIOPS Trigger segments was provided for by a friend of mine here in Japan, Alfie Goodrich.
