Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Three Dog Night version of the Hoyt Axton song Never Been To Spain . The bass player on this track was Joe Schermie. • You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan. • This is one of the songs where it could be played a million different ways. The possibilities are endless. If you're not careful though, it could turn into a bass solo and I think that would take away from the song. So part of the challenge would be to keep your discipline and don't overplay. I like how he kept the articulations and rhythmic figures but found ways to add variations around that. • It's not too difficult but a lot of fun to play.
