No copyright infringement. • http://www.discogs.com/Marchesa-Casat... • The Marchesa Casati story begins in 2009, resulting from the meeting of Maurini (voice) and Lorelei (instrumental), both sharing interests for the dark and underground musics - the Post-Punk, the Batcave and the Gothic Rock, for instance - from the 70's to the 90's. Firslty, the meeting is a bit fuzzy according to the goal to reach, and mostly built on the « play », inherent of the meeting of distinct personalities. But afterward, the band starts, since 2010, a seriously work which is defined - and still does - through the time. Through the same year, a few « pre-demo » songs, including some as « Bats », « Into the Hole », or « From Earth to Heaven », can be listened on myspace and offering to the public a first approach of this particular dimension, in which the topics are analysed, as » the identity », the need for the dream and for the « somewhere else », or also the importance which the concept of « marginality » can have in the safeguard of intellect, and in the building of the being. In keeping with the music history, through the support which is used, but also, in the same time, with the art history through their influences - Symbolism, Surrealism, Mythology...etc - the band released his first demo cd in March 2011, which is titled « The Marchesa Casati » and which is the physical result of a one year's production. • / 133598293342358
