Hey everyone and welcome to another review. This time we will be checking out the Magic YoYo V12. • Comparison to: • Magic YoYo V11: • Magic YoYo V11 Fingerota - Unboxing, ... • Magic YoYo Node: • MagicYoYo Y01 Node - Unboxing, Review... • Duncan Roadrunner: • Duncan Roadrunner - Unboxing, Review,... • I have got to say, wow, Magic yoyo (MYY) has been releasing new models as well as some of their limited release yoyos lately. But till I get my hands on some of their other bimetals, let's go ahead and check out the V12. • The V12 is what I would call a slightly undersized yoyo as the diameter is just a tiny bit smaller than the Node (which is also considered an undersized yoyo). The body of the yoyo resembles a similarity to the V11 with that rise on the rim portion of the profile which usually helps with some rim weight distribution. But the V12 features a hooked lip unlike the V11, with this lip you're able to thumb grind relatively easy. The yoyo also features a finger spin cup which does sort of self center, but once your finger gets into the dimple the yoyo will have a slight swirl during finger spins. The body of the yoyo also features a blasted finish allowing it to glide on your skin for body grinds. • In comparison, the Node still has a lot more power on the rims, but the V12 can still hold its own very well. With the size, the yoyo plays really nimble and just really likes to bounce from one string to the other. Especially with that finger spin cup the V12 is quite stable. If I can describe the weight distribution, it feels like 52R/48C (Rim/Center). There is just a little bit more power than the V11 (plays floaty). I would honestly be very curious if MYY can make a bi-metal version of this yoyo. It plays light, has some bounce and power giving a nice balance to throw in some speed (god speed) play. • Only gripe I can say would be the silicon stickers/brake pads. They're not as grippy as other MYY yoyos or even other brands, but it could also be the string I used...which just so happens to be the ones that were included with the yoyo (strings are soft even after a few hours of use). Besides that, this yoyo is definitely a good EDC (Every Day Carry). I believe it is priced around $15-25 (depending on which site you purchase from) making this a budget banger. • Leave a comment below to let me know what you think of the video or the V12. Like the video and subscribe if you haven't already! • I'll be creating a sub channel very soon that ties in other hobbies that I enjoy doing that isn't entirely yoyo related...just mostly. =P • Give it a follow as I'll be going on holiday soon and will be uploading content into that channel very soon. • / @yoworldyoway
