Today i'm going to unbox, setup review the Victure Wifi extender. • Hopefully this video will help you with your buying decision. • Inside the box there is: • The wifi extender • Waranty card • the User manual • Now let's have a close look at the wifi extender • It looks really smart. • It has two antennae • Indicator light • WPS Button • a Network LAN port • Reset button • Now let's set it up • First plug the wifi extender into a socket. • Wait until the red indicator starts blinking slowly. • This normally takes around 1 minute. • Now on your phone or on your laptop open the wireless network connections. • Then join the network Wireless-2.4G or Wireless-5G. Let's say the 2.4G. • The setup page will load automatically • Now set a username and a password for your account. • Then tap next • Confirm. • Now you have 2 modes of operations, AP mode Extender mode. • With the AP mode you will need an ethernet cable to be connected between your router and the wifi extender • With the extender mode the wifi extender will connect to your router wirelessly • I will use the extender mode. • Here you have the option to extend the 2.4G network or the 5G network. • It is preferable to extend the 5G if there is one wall between your router and the wifi extender. • If you have 2 walls between them then better choose the 2.4G option. • I will extend the 2.4G network • Now tap on wireless scanner • Now select your network from the list, in my case it's truespeed-CLF2C • Now i will input the password of my truespeed network. • You can keep your new wirless network consistent with the primary network or choose a different name and password. • I want to choose a different name for my wireless network, so i will select Modify wireless network extension and password • I will then set a new network name, let's say Extended-NTW • and I will keep the same password. • Then save • All done • As you can see i now have 2 new networks • ExtendedNTW-2.4G • • ExtendedNTW-5G • All i need to do now is connect to one of these networks and input its password. • Now let's test it. • I am now in my garden few meters away from the house where i have my extender. • and as you can see my extended network has a better coverage than the truespeed network. • Now let's open a webpage to test. • As you can see the internet speeed is also good. • Overall this is a great wifi extender that gives you better coverage for your house. • #QuickTipsTO
